It’s no wonder that Helena’s jewelry blends into the Bellerose universe so seamlessly, as we share a love for designs that are both timeless and contemporary, with great diversity in colors and textures. We recently got the chance to discover her world, including her stunning apartment, her neighborhood and her workshop. At the same time, it allowed us to ask her some of the questions that had been on our mind for while already.
For this year’s International Women’s Day, we’re joining forces with 4 of our current favorite female illustrators. We approached them to create an exclusive illustration to reflect their take on what it’s like to be a woman. All revenue from the prints will be going to SEDT , a non-profit organization that provides access to education, coaching and workshops for dalit girls and women in rural Tamil Nadhu, India.
As Belgium is a rather small country, we tend to get very excited when some of our people make it to the Olympic Games. One of the young athletes that’ll be representing Belgium in 2020 is 400-metres runner Camille Laus, whom we’ll be following on her road to Tokyo. Cool, ambitious, passionate and Brussels-based, one could say she’s cut from the same cloth we are.

Last year, we wanted to turn Black Friday into something more meaningful than just another day of discounts and sales. When we walk into Joachim’s studio, the sound of the Beastie Boys and a mass of finished paintings are there to welcome us. Having just finished a large series of canvasses for his solo exhibition in Antwerp, Joachim is a satisfied man and he has every reason to be. For someone still in his early 30s, he has an incredible trajectory to look back on and most of all, a lot to look forward to. Mix raw talent with true passion and perseverance and the outcome may very well be the Antwerp based street artist and painter in front of us.

In the light of the LRNCE x Bellerose collaboration, we jumped at the chance to spend a few days with her and discover her atypical story.
During her fashion studies in Ghent, young Belgian creative Laurence Leenaert worked at the Bellerose flagship store there during the weekends and holidays. A lot has changed since: she launched LRNCE and moved to Marrakesh, where her brand flourished. Today we are so happy to present a collaboration that was meant to be, given our common search for authenticity, savoir faire and durability.

Having grown up in New-Zealand, Ben started taking pictures skateboarding as a teen. After moving to Melbourne, he decided to raise the stakes and go for photography full time.
